Operational Changes at HLA in Response to Public Health Situation

Donations & Support

Annual Campaign

As a non-profit charitable organization, the Society depends on public and private funds to support its services.

Since its founding in 1949, private donations have helped sustain the Legal Aid Society in its effort to ensure that no one in Onondaga County shall be denied justice because of a lack of means.

Hiscock Legal Aid Society conducts an Annual Campaign to raise funds to support its work.

Members’ names are published in an Annual Campaign Directory.

  • $1,000 And Above – Champion of Justice
  • $500 to $999 – Defender of Justice
  • $250 to $499 – Guardian of Justice

The Legacy Society

To honor the generous planned gifts pledged to Hiscock Legal Aid Society (“HLA”), but received at the end of the donor’s life, HLA has established a Legacy Society that recognizes and honors those individuals who have planned to benefit HLA at some time in the future.
